REFRAME YOUR SELF-TALK
The words you use to describe your experience, become your experience. Language is everything. It’s like holding a mirror up to what’s going on inside.
“I have to get an IG post done.”
“I have to do laundry.”
“I have to get this webinar slide deck done.”
HACK:
Trade your “I have to” to “I get to.”
WHY IT WORKS:
This simple shift in language can transform a sense of obligation into an opportunity, making tasks feel more rewarding rather than mundane. It’s a small change that has a BIG IMPACT on how you approach your life and business.
ANCHOR POSITIVE STATES
Anchors are powerful. It’s the reason you immediately think of Titanic when you hear Celine Dion’s My Heart Will Go On.
HACK:
Anytime you feel a positive emotion, gently touch your earlobe (or knuckle) at the peak of the emotion. This sets the anchor.
WHY IT WORKS:
Anchoring allows you to associate the touch of an earlobe (or knuckle) to a positive emotion you want to be able to access anytime you need it. It’s like having a happy button to touch anytime you need it!
VISUALIZE SUCCESS, NOT FEAR
As human beings, it’s actually pretty normal to think of the worst case scenario. It’s how our brains are wired, but you can change that. (speaking from experience because I did it).
HACK:
Spend a few minutes each day visualizing what success looks like to you. What do you hear, see, and feel? Add in emotion and get specific as if your vision board life is happening right now!
WHY IT WORKS:
Visualization rewires your brain to focus on positive outcomes rather than what could go wrong. This creates a mental footprint for success and keeps you motivated.
BREAK THE THOUGHT LOOP
It’s also pretty normal to let your mind spiral with thoughts that don’t positively serve you.
HACK:
When you catch yourself in a negative thought loop, interrupt it by saying, “STOP IT” outloud and then immediately shift your focus to a positive affirmation.

Start your day by feeling the feelings of 3 things you’re grateful for. If you’re grateful or your kids, go back to the time they were born and feel the feelings of it happening all over again. If you get goosebumps up your arms, you’re doing it right!
